Beginning on January 30, 2023, and lasting through February 16, 2023, Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad will begin performing maintenance to the overhead railroad crossing on West Bruceton Road, near the intersection of Cochran Mill Road. Throughout the duration of the project, there will be a full closure of West Bruceton Road at the overhead railroad crossing on Mondays through Thursdays but should be reopened Friday through Sunday each week. During the times of closure, no traffic will be permitted to access Cochran Mill Road from West Bruceton Road, or West Bruceton Road from Cochran Mill Road. A detour will be posted along the route to assist drivers and will take drivers the following route:
-West Bruceton onto Arbor Lane
- Arbor Lane, turning left onto Curry Hollow Road
-Curry Hollow Road to Brownsville Road and straight onto Cochran Mill Road
