Let Freedom Bloom Edition

In celebration of Pleasant Hills Community Day and America’s 250th Anniversary, residents are invited to showcase their patriotic spirit by decorating their yards, porches, and outdoor spaces in red, white, and blue.

Entries will be judged by the Pleasant Hills Garden Club’s Garden of Distinction judges, and selected homes will be recognized for their creativity, community pride, and patriotic spirit.

Entry Period: Now through Friday, July 31, 2026

Residents may:

Submit their own home

Nominate a neighbor whose patriotic display deserves recognition

For neighbor nominations, please include the decorated home's address and, if possible, the resident’s name or contact information. To be eligible for awards and prizes, nominated residents must be reachable.

Awards and prizes will be presented during Pleasant Hills Community Day on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their yards, porches, and outdoor spaces with an Americana theme featuring red, white, blue, and hometown pride.
